We may collect your name, address, telephone number, email address, property or site details, photographs, plans, job requirements, correspondence, quotation and invoice information, payment records and electrical certification details.

When you use the website enquiry form, the details you enter are submitted securely to our form-delivery provider and forwarded to our business email account.

3. How and why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange visits, prepare quotations, perform and manage electrical work, provide certification, issue invoices, keep business and tax records, deal with warranties or disputes, and meet legal or regulatory duties.

Our lawful bases will normally be taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. Where necessary, we may share relevant information with trusted service providers, including our website host and form-delivery provider, as well as accountants, payment or business-software providers, subcontractors, wholesalers, certification or registration bodies, insurers, professional advisers, network operators and public authorities. We only share what is reasonably necessary.

5. Website hosting and form delivery

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, device or browser details, security logs and aggregated usage information to deliver and secure the website. We use FormSubmit to receive and forward website enquiries to our business email account. FormSubmit processes the details you choose to submit for that purpose.

We do not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies. Any non-essential technology requiring consent will not be used without the appropriate notice and choice.

6. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal, accounting, certification, insurance and dispute requirements. Unsuccessful enquiry information will normally be reviewed and deleted after 24 months. Contract, invoice and financial records are normally retained for at least six years, and some certification records may be kept longer where reasonably required.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information. No email or internet service is completely secure, so please do not send bank-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where consent is relied upon. Contact us using the details above to exercise a right.
